SPPC works to ensure that people in Scotland who have a progressive life-threatening condition, such as cancer, motor neurone disease or advanced heart failure, receive appropriate and effective palliative care. It contributes to Scottish national thinking and policy in relation to palliative care, and promotes improvements in service delivery at local level. |
